Mark you calendars for the Spring meeting of the KAFHS Officers and Board. All committee members and association friends are invited. Howard Moore will be the President of KAFHS in 2013. He and the Green County Fair Board will be the hosts for this meeting. Planning is still in process. Come on over to the Barren River State park area of KY and enjoy a weekend of entertainment and hospitality. See you there. Opening day ceremonies is highlighted by newly crowned 2013 Fair Queens from the Association members. Board of Directors will meet on the evening of the 14th. Meeting location and time are to be announced prior to the 14th. Host hotel for the meeting is the Crowne Plaza.

The KY County Fair Little Miss & Mr. Pageant is held as a part of the opening day festivities. The Crowne Plaza will be hosting the event. All participants will be notified of directions and times to be available for presentation and rehearsals. Please make your plans to be there for this very exciting and day of pageantry. The Fall meeting of the KAFHS is to be held on Saturday morning of this weekend. If you are on a committee or would wish to just volunteer to participate in KAFHS activities. Please come by and enjoy the unique ambiance and fun. This is a very active weekend with both the Pre-Teen and the Teen pageants being held. This is the culmination of all the local fair pageants and their winners. Members winners are requested to follow the various instructions sent to them and they will be able to participate the title of Miss Pre-Teen KYCounty Fair or Miss Teen KY County Fair. Whichever age grouping that they had won in at the local member fair. Come and enjoy. See you there.

Make you plans to attend the 2014 Convention and Trade Show for KAFHS. The Pageantry of the Miss Kentucky County Fair Pageant will be the conclusion of the overall convention festivities'. Start making your plans to attend and make your reservations at the Galt House for these exciting few days of information and activities. The Auction for scholarship funding and a showcase of talent are other high lights of the days and nights on the bank of the Ohio river at Louisville, KY within the Galt House.
